Function
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within that field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Supports, monitors, tests, and troubleshoots hardware and software problems pertaining to LAN/WAN. Recommends and schedules repairs. Provides end users support for all LAN- based applications/ WAN-based applications. Installs and configures workstations. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a project leader or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Education & Experience
Associates degree or equivalent technical certifications or 5 years directly related experience. Requires 4-6 years of experience in the field of LAN support, IT, or in a related area.
